CIRCLE M is not a pony ride in the
park. Sometimes we'll
ride along an overgrown logging road or abandoned rail bed, but we’re
just as likely to take off and follow a deer trail through the forest.
It depends on the weather or just how we're feeling. Don’t worry,
we always make it back and we're working on being able to claim that we
always make it back on time.![]()
THE TENDERFOOT (1 hr) Here's a nice, gentle introduction
to what we mean by Trail Riding. We saddle up at the fire pit, ride down
a shady treed road and within minutes you're deep in the forest. There's
a few ups and downs, but mostly it's a nice level ride. Birds, deer and
other wildlife are abundant!
THE COWBOY WAY (2 hr) Twice as long with ten times the scenery! We're not
exactly sure how the math works out on this one, but we are sure that you'll
see a lot of great country.
THE BIG VALLEY (3 hr) Cinch up the saddle and check your
canteen, because we're heading through the forest, across the highway and
up Mount Prevost. This ride is the best way for you to really get to know
your horse... and for your horse to get to know you.
THE RAVINE (4-5 hr) Bring a lunch and an appetite for adventure. Look forward to some steep climbs, a creek bed crossing and a trek down an ancient, abandoned logging road. The Ravine Ride is one of the best places to see lush rainforest undergrowth.
THE RIVER ROUND UP (All Day, minimum 6 hrs) Get ready for the ultimate trail ride experience. A full day takes you through hills and valleys right up to the spectacular mountain scenery. Well worth the time and effort. On hot summer days this trail can get a bit dusty, but luckily the Circle M horses know the way to a cool, secluded natural swimming hole. Unforgettable.
